The High School Boys Basketball team will play their first round of C1-10 sub districts at Kearney Catholic on Tuesday February 20th against Holdrege. The tip is scheduled for 7:00 PM. GO WHIPPETS!!!!

Minden High School hosts the C1-10 girls sub district basketball tournament on Tuesday and Thursday this week! On Tuesday the Whippets will play Kearney Catholic at 5:30 PM followed by Broken Bow vs Holdrege at 7:00 PM. The winners of these two games will play on Thursday at 6:00 PM. REMINDER, NO PASSES will be accepted including SWC, family, student, or golden age passes. As a NSAA post season event, admission is $6 for adults and $5 for students for all in attendance. GO WHIPPETS!!!


Congratulations to the speech team on a great day at our Minden Invitational on Saturday! We had five event champions in the novice division and three event champions in the varsity division. Thank you to all who came out to the meet to support the team!

Minden High School will host the C1-10 Girls Basketball Sub District games on Tuesday February 13th and Thursday February 15th. The Whippet girls will play against Kearney Catholic on Tuesday 13th at 5:30 PM. Following this game, Broken Bow will play Holdrege. Then, the winners of each game on Tuesday will play at 6pm on Thursday February 15th at MHS!!

Congratulations to Head Boys Wrestling Coach Keaton Gracey on being selected as the recipient of the 2024 NSAA Wrestling Champions for Coaches Award!! This award is given by the NSAA to only one coach per NSAA activity so this is quite an honor. This is yet another example of the great things that we are building for the Minden High School Activities Program!!!

Kids Cheer Camp Reminder!!! The kids cheer camp will perform during halftime of the girls varsity basketball game on Thursday February 8th. The scheduled start time of the varsity girls game is 6pm. Kids cheer camp participants should meet in the performing arts theater at the beginning of the 2nd quarter of the girls basketball game!
The Whippet basketball teams are back in action tonight as they travel to Adams Central! Also, if you are traveling to the game feel free to take advantage of the meal AC is offering!

The speech team would love to see you at our home meet this Saturday, February 10. Stop by the high school office if you need a schedule! Free admission. Great concessions. Fabulous performances by our speech kids! Come see what they have been working on!
