REMINDER: there will only be 2 quarters of JV for both the girls and boys tonight. Because of this, we have pushed the start time back to 5:00pm for the JV games. The full varsity games will follow the JV games.

Wrestling clock person NEEDED for home dual tournament on Friday January 12th. Whippet Nation, we are in need of one more person to run a score clock in the CL Jones gym on Friday January 12th for our Dual Tournament. Wrestling starts at 3pm and we will serve a meal to all helpers and meet workers! Please call the high school office to let Mr. Strong know if you would be able to help in this role. Due to the dense fog advisory and freezing fog advisory that lasts until noon on Thursday January 4th, there will be NO morning practices Thursday. 8th grade boys basketball will now practice after school. Also, the high school girls wrestling team departure time to Columbus has been delayed to 6:30am. We will determine if it is safe for them to make the trip to Columbus Thursday morning by 5:45am and then Coach Ostrom will get word out to the wrestlers.

Holiday Basketball Tournament at Grand Island Central Catholic starts today! This is a quick reminder that the GICC Holiday Basketball tournament takes place today and tomorrow. The girls play GICC at 6pm tonight in the south gym and the boys follow in the same gym. The full bracket is included as an attached picture. Boys reserve basketball today at Broken Bow has been CANCELLED due to lack of players for Broken Bow. The girls reserve game will be played as scheduled at 5pm.

The Whippet girls wrestling team is competing hard at the Flatwater Fracas! They will wrestle back here at the Heartland Events Center tomorrow as well.





Basketball Reminder!!
Minden HS hosts the reserve level basketball tournament Saturday morning beginning at 9am. The Minden boys will play in this tournament, but our girls will not. Then Saturday afternoon the basketball teams travel to Elm Creek for JV (3:00pm) and Varsity Girls (4:30pm) and Varsity Boys (6:00pm)
