MPS will have a 10:00 late start tomorrow January 6th. No morning preschool and buses will run accordingly. If do not have school we will make that call around 7:30-8:00 tomorrow morning.
The Whippet boys basketball team had a hard fought game taking Runner-Up at GICC Holiday Tournament.
Congrats to the Lady Whippets for taking the GICC Holiday Tournament Championship with a win over GICC 45-29!!!
Wins for both the girls and boys over Superior in the first night of the GICC holiday tournament!! The girls play GICC at 6pm and the boys also play GICC at 7:30 on Saturday! Both games will be in the south (main) gym.

These National Honor Society elves braved the cold to bring some joy to the students at East Elementary by passing out candy canes to preschool through third grade students. Members also reminisced about sitting on the stairs for Book-It and other pictures so we had to take a picture there!

The minden girls wrestling team will NOT be participating in the Crete Invitational on Saturday 14th. We have pulled out of this meet due to the concern for travel conditions given the icing forecast to the east and the early departure time that was required.
JV boys basketball vs Elm Creek scheduled for December 19th has been CANCELLED due to low numbers from Elm Creek. On December 19th, we will play JV Girls 4:30pm, V Girls 6:00pm, and V Boys 7:30pm all in the high school gym.

Congrats to the play pro team on a runner up finish at the B5 district. They had the best performance of the year! Sophia Cederburg was awarded one of two outstanding performer awards. Best of luck to Gothenburg, the district champ who advances to the state tourney next week!
There will be one entry point which will be the front of Minden High School for the JV/V basketball games vs Ogallala on Saturday December 7th. CLJ Middle School will not be unlocked for entry on Saturday. Also, as a reminder, the North entrance is now a staff only entrance and it will not be unlocked for entry to the public for any home games or contests.
