NSWCA Girls State Dual UPDATES:
We have received some updates regarding the Girls State Wrestling Dual Tournament on Thursday. We have been asked to pass along the following details to our patrons:
- This event is NOT at West Point-Beemer High School. It is at the Nielsen Community Center. The address is 200 Anna Stalp Ave, West Point, NE 68788.
- We will have a concession stand with pop/water, candy, pizza, nachos and pretzels.
- Please park your buses/school vehicles on the WEST side of the Nielsen Center (gravel parking lot by baseball field). This will allow patrons to park in the normal parking lots for the Nielsen.
- SEATING: Seating will be very limited as we have found out that we can only use bleachers that are 3 rows high due to a safety issue.

Whippet Speech continues to gain momentum with 27 varsity and 5 novice medalists at the Bow Invite. FIVE event champions included Conyers/Klabunde V Duet, Sam Cederburg V Extemp, F Kovacs V Persuasive, M Heath N Poetry, & A Cederburg N Entertainment. It was a fabulous day!!

At the heart of every successful student experience is a coach who inspires, leads, and empowers. NSAA
activities are the other half of education—cultivating character, perseverance, and community. These
transformative experiences across 24 sports and 5 activities would not be possible without the unwavering
dedication of coaches in our member schools.
To honor these exceptional leaders, the NSAA is proud to announce that nominations are open for our
Champions for Coaches program—an initiative that celebrates active coaches who go above and beyond for
students, schools, and communities. We invite students, administrators, parents/guardians, and community
members to nominate coaches who embody this spirit of excellence.
Nomination Deadline: Monday, January 27, 2025
