K-12 Student Art Show - Presented by Minden Opera House and Minden Public Schools. Student art will be displayed at the Minden Opera house the month of February. Come see all the wonderful artwork our students have created.
National Honor Society will sponsor the Winter Ball on Jan. 23 from 8:00 - 11:00 PM in the high school commons. Students will be required to wear masks and no out of town dates will be allowed. The cost is $5 per student. Doors will be locked at 8:30 PM.
Speech Team Members & Parents; We will not run practices today (Tuesday, December 29) due to the weather. Team members, please check your school email.
Our Play Production Awards Night will be Monday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Cast and crew members should plan to attend with their families. We will not be doing a potluck dinner this year.

MHS's Performance of the Wizard of Oz on Tues, Nov 17 at 7:00 will be restricted attendance. Each cast/crew member will be allowed two tickets in order for us to stay at 25% capacity. The performance will also be streamed on Striv.tv. Please plan to tune in to watch online!
High School Parents - There will be a band meeting on Tuesday, November 10th at 7:00 in the band room. Please make plans to attend.
Due to the unpredictableness of the coronavirus pandemic and the effects it has on the health of our schools, Minden Public Schools is taking proactive measures to plan for possible school closures. Moving forward from what we learned last spring during the long term school closure, we know that having an understanding of our family's internet access/availability to connect virtually is very important.
We are asking parents to login to PowerSchool and complete the short 6 question survey found under forms. The Digital Equity Survey will help our teachers understand the impact that home digital access has on learning, it will help them to target available resources and determine the most effective solutions for our students. '
Please take the time to complete this survey so we can continue to give our students the best available options for education in any environment. If you need instructions on how to login to PowerSchool you can find those instructions on our school webpage under "NEWS" at the bottom of the page as well as Facebook and Twitter. We are asking that you complete this survey for EACH student you have enrolled in Minden Public Schools.
SENIORS: have you looked at the Susan Buffett Scholarship? The app opened on Nov 1. HUGE scholarship for students attending a Nebraska public 2 or 4 year college. App is found at https://buffettscholarships.org/. Must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA and meet some income guidelines.
