Minden will play Wahoo on Saturday for a State Championship! We are the HOME team so our side will be the north seating. The seating map is attached.

The Whippets win the semi final match against Kearney Catholic. We will play in the Championship match on Saturday at 3pm at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in an effort to repeat as State Champions. A great win over our fellow SWC school in the first round at state volleyball today! On to the semi finals for the third straight season!! The Whippets will play on Friday at 1pm on the PBA north court. Also congrats to our friends from Gothenburg on a great season.

Congrats to our Lady Whippets for earning 3rd consecutive trip to the state volleyball tournament!! Today was another dominant win in the District Final over Ashland Greenwood. The whippets will play in the first round on Wednesday November 6th @ PBA with a 1pm match. Thank you to Whippet Nation for filling the gym to support the girls today!!

CLASS OF 2025 PARENTS: your senior received a grad supply order packet Tuesday. They need to return that packet Tue, Nov 5. All seniors need to order a cap/gown/tassel & may order other grad/senior supplies. Please ask your senior about this packet if you have not seen it yet.

Congratulations to Mattie Kamery on being selected as one of the 48 state-wide recipients of the NSAA Believers and Achievers Award! Beginning in November and continuing through April, the 48 Nebraska high school seniors listed below will be honored as Believers & Achievers. From those 48 statewide winners, eight will receive $500 scholarships from Currency to use for the college or university of their choice at a scholarship banquet to be held in April of 2025. These 48 students will be recognized at NSAA State Championships throughout the 2024-25 activities year and on a poster sent to all NSAA member schools. All of the students nominated for the Believers & Achievers awards program represent the very best of Nebraska’s high schools and are considered local school winners. A complete list of the local school winners for the 2024-25 activities year is available on the NSAA website.

JV football at Lexington has now been cancelled due to ongoing lightning and storms.

JV football at Lexington is currently delayed due to lightning. The earliest kickoff will be at 6:15pm. If there continue to be delays that would push the start of the game much past 7pm then it will turn into a cancellation.
