Research shows that reading for fun helps kids retain knowledge in all content areas. The CLJMS book fair gets books into students' hands and into our library!
We'll be open this Wednesday and Friday after school and next week during conferences.
Book Fair is a great opportunity for students to take home a brand new book that they get to keep forever. This week (Sept. 12-16) Minden High School National Honor Society is raising money to help assist CL Jones and East Elementary in providing books for students who did not purchase one at the book fair. If you would like to donate to this cause, money can be dropped off with Jayne Hoban at the high school or sent in care of Jayne Hoban at Minden High School, PO Box 301, Minden, NE 68959. Thank you for helping us put books in the hands of children!

FYI - The school calendar has the JV and Varsity volleyball teams playing at Aurora on Tuesday. This is a misprint. We are not playing in this triangular this year. The varsity does not have any games until Friday and Saturday in Gothenburg.
Join us for a reserve and JV volleyball quadrangular tomorrow night. Both the JV and reserve teams will play Kearney Catholic at 4:30. The JV will play in the high school while the reserve team will play in CLJ. Go Whippets!!
