We will have a community meeting at East Elementary to discuss a potential building project. We will have tours and a presentation for the community. The meetings will be on Wednesday, February 8th, at 6:00 pm and Monday, February 13th, at 5:30 pm.

The GI Walnut middle school girls wrestling meet has been rescheduled for February 9th. Start time remains the same at 4:15pm.

Minden FBLA is selling Valentine's Day Cookies this week before school and during lunch in the high school commons area! The deadline to buy is Friday, February 3rd. All proceeds will be donated to March of Dimes, a nonprofit that fights for the health of all moms and babies.
These Whippet musicians auditioned and were selected to participate in the UNK Honor Band and Choir Clinic today! They spent the day rehearsing music with other students and will perform in a concert to conclude the day.
The middle school girls wrestling meet scheduled for today at Grand Island Walnut has been postponed due to an emergency situation at Walnut Middle School. An alternate date has not been set for this meet. The girls team was on the way to the meet but will turn around and return to Minden.

In the regular season finale, the lady whippets finish in 4th at the Amherst Invite. Shoutout to Savannah Koch, who notched her 50th career win and pinned her way to first place!
Good luck to all of the whippet activities today including girls wrestling at Amherst, boys wrestling at Raymond Central, Speech and Grand Island, and girls basketball at the SWC Championship game at Kearney High at 4:30pm!
