The Whippet Band is coming home with a 3rd place finish in Class B at the Harvest of Harmony parade! There were 13 bands competing in Class B.
The band also received an Excellent rating in the field competition.

We are so excited to celebrate the Whippets today!!!!!! The Homecoming Parade route is different this year. The candidate convertibles and bands will use the IGA parking lot and will need to be near the entrances to Fifth Street. Please do not set up your floats in those areas; instead, park along Nebraska Street, and you will be directed to enter the Parade. Please do not park behind the emergency vehicles. The Homecoming Coronation will take place at the Minden Opera House immediately following the parade! GO WHIPPETS!!!!!
Minden High School was honored to be able to host the Nebraska Supreme Court today for a session. We were joined by students from Hastings High, Kenesaw, Blue Hill, Axtell, Bertrand, and Wilcox Hildreth. What an experience for our students! A big thank you needs to go out to Mr. Martin for organizing this event!

7th-8th VB: Next week the 7th/8th grade will play at Lexington Middle School Monday starting at 4:15. Tuesday the 7th-8th play their last games of the season at Holdrege. 7th plays at the Elementary, 8th plays at the Middle School both start at 4:30 pm. Go Whippets!
7th-8th FB: Next Monday our 7th-8th grade play at KC starting at 5 pm with an A game. After the fourth quarter ends we will play two more quarters of B game. Go Whippets!
