Kuper Field archway project near completion! At the new archway gate entry points are now installed at the MHS football field/track!!! This was a HUGE project as these were fabricated from scratch largely by the MHS metals class. There were many individuals and local businesses that assisted with this project so it was a fantastic school and community partnership!! A special thanks goes out to the following: Bob Carlson, Rick Chramosta, Grayson Tool, Minden Machine, Vincent Sumstine, Chad Schmidt, Travis Dassinger, and all of the MHS students who worked on this project. You will be able to read more about this project in the Minden Courier in the near future!!!

East Elementary is hiring!
These kids "went" to Yellowstone National Park yesterday with Ms. McVay and then experienced their own geysers.
These summer kids learned about Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and then created their own volcano. 🌋
Our summer enrichment kiddos completed two community based projects last week including planting and delivering flowers to the senior center and painting kindness rocks to be found around Jensen Memorial Library.
Thank you to everyone who helped fill the can recycling trailer! A special thank you to the Sorensens for donating the trailer and transporting the can to the recycling center. The money collected is added to our activity funds and used for things like field trip payments.
Keeping our brains active at summer enrichment has been fun this week! If you are a kindergarten through third grade student who signed up to join us, just a quick reminder on the dates and times. Summer enrichment will go through June 13th, 8:30-11:30.
