CLJMS Families if you or your student would like to purchase candy grams for any students (including your own) or staff. Please fill out the form that was sent home today please include their name, your name, a message if you wish, and their grade level with homeroom (so we know where to deliver). Students may also purchase them and day after school from Feb. 6-12 in the lobby.

High School Wrestling vs. Central City and High School Basketball vs. McCook has been POSTPONED to tonight Thursday January 18th. Make up is To Be Determined . This is due to the visiting teams being unable to make due to road conditions.
The Kids Cheer Camp has been rescheduled! The practice will now take place on Tuesday February 6th from 3:45-5pm in the Activities Gym. Participants should enter through the east door to the Activities Gym on this day. Kids Cheer will perform on Thursday February 8th during halftime of the GIRLS VARSITY game. Here is the updated list of activities for next week. The weather has forced many changes to our schedule. GO WHIPPETS!
The Cheer Kids Camp that was scheduled to take place on Saturday 13th has been POSTPONED due to the basketball game being rescheduled. The future date of the cheer kids camp is TBD. More information will be shared regarding this event when available.
Home basketball scheduled for Saturday January 13th vs McCook has been RESCHEDULED to Thursday January 18th. On the 18th basketball vs McCook will be VARSITY ONLY with girls starting at 5pm and boys at 6:30pm. Also on Thursday the 18th, the girls and boys high school wrestling dual vs. Central City will now take place in the CL Jones gym and 7th grade boys basketball vs. Cozad will now be played in the Activities Gym.
MPS will not have school today, Friday, January 12th. Road crews are working hard to open up the roads. Drifts, visibility, and wind chill will be a problem for today and the weekend. We will get information about activities later today. Please be safe.
Kids cheer camp will continue as scheduled for Saturday January 13th from 1:00-2:00pm in the activities gym. The camp participants will perform at half time of the boys varisty game that begins at 4pm. Girls will report to theater at the beginning of the 2nd quarter of the boys game to prepare for the performance.
BASKETBALL CANCELLED FOR TODAY:
The basketball games scheduled for tonight both for the high school (at Saint Cecilia) and middle school (at home) have been cancelled due to the latest winter weather forecast. Practices are allowed after school today, but all practices must end by 6pm.
We have a fantastic custodian and maintenance team. Thank You for all the time and effort you put in!
Due to poor road conditions and increased wind. MPS will not have school on Tuesday, January 9. We will not have evening activities. Please be careful. The highways and east-west roads are slick, and visibility is poor.
The MPS Board Meeting for tonight has been rescheduled to Monday, January 15th, at 7:00 p.m. Please be safe. Minden has been upgraded to a Blizzard warning until tomorrow morning.
