Wednesdays are theme days for the volleyball team. Last week was black out and today's was white out. We also try to do some kind of team building activity. Happy Labor Day!
Each week volleyball team members can nominate each other for something special they have done throughout the week. We have had lots of nominations in each of the first 3 weeks of practice. On Fridays we read through these and choose one to highlight. We would like to congratulate our first three: Myla Emery, Rebbeca Lempka, and Jolie Buechler. We are very proud of their efforts to be the terrific teammates!! 💜🏐💜
The volleyball team started off their season on the right note.. On Thursday all 3 teams beat Ord in their season opener. On Saturday at the Minden Invite they beat Amherst and Valentine in pool play and then went on to win the championship match against Adams Central. This week on Tuesday the JV and Varsity teams travel to McCook for a triangular with McCook and Chase County, and on Thursday they host Lexington in a dual with the reserve game beginning at 5:00. Minden Whippet fans, we can't wait to see all of you on Thursday!! 💜🏐💜
