Minden High School will host the C1-7 Girls Basketball Sub-District Tournament on February 17, 18, and 20th. The Minden Girls earned the #1 seed! On Monday February 17th, Fairbury will play Fillmore Central at Fairbury High School. Then on Tuesday February 18th, Minden will play the winner of game 1 at 5:30pm here at home followed by Holdrege vs David City. The Sub-District Final is scheduled for Thursday February 20th at 6:00PM at MHS. GO WHIPPETS!!!!!!!!

Due to poor road conditions, extreme cold temperatures, and continued snowfall, MPS will not have PT Conferences today. We will have an early out tomorrow at 1:00 and conferences starting at 3:00.
Due to poor road conditions, below-freezing temperatures, and blowing snow, MPS will not have school tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12th. We will decide on Parent-Teacher Conferences tomorrow. There will be no evening activities.
Due to possible bad weather there is no morning middle school weights tomorrow with Coach Jorgensen. Weights will start back up next Monday.
The High School South Entrance will be the only entrance point for the basketball games tonight. NO ENTRY THROUGH CL Jones Middle School. As a reminder the adjusted schedule is below:
5:00 PM: Varsity Girls in High School Gym and JV Boys in Middle School Gym
6:30 PM: Varsity Boys in High School Gym and JV Girls in Middle School Gym

CL Jones Middle School has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon this year!
Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday March 3, 2025.
About one week before our Read-A-Thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.
