We were thrilled to have so many golfers participate in this year's camp and tournament! We want to thank all of our volunteers, the Minden Country Club, and all of the great participants. We look forward to seeing you out on the course this summer!

As of right now, youth football camp is still on. Looks like the rain should be done about the time we're supposed to start so we will meet in the High School Commons and hand out T-shirts.

Congrats to volleyball team for being selected as the Hastings Tribune team of the year!!! Also congrats is in order for Kaylynn Jorgensen (female golfer of the year), Mattie Kamery (volleyball athlete of the year), and Orrin Kuehn (wrestling athlete of the year)!! What a year for the Whippets!! Let's get ready to do it again for 2024/2025! GO WHIPPETS!!!!!!

Congratulations to KayLynn on being named the first ever Hastings Tribune Girls Golfer of the Year! We are so proud of her for all of her hard work, and we wish her continued success on the course!

Golfers, if you are planning to play in the Adult/Child Tournament Thursday at 6, you MUST sign up this morning at golf camp. See you soon!

A beautiful day for golf camp! We have over 100 kids learning and loving the sport. We suggest before tomorrow that you label your child's golf bag, hats, water bottles, etc. We had a few mixed up today, and we'd love to make sure everything gets back to the right owners.

Don't forget about Junior Golf Camp this week! If you are interested in a playing in Thursday's tournament, you will need to add your name and your child's name to the sign up sheet in the clubhouse by NOON on Wednesday. We can't wait to see our young golfers...over 100 of them!

Summer Breakfast/Lunch will begin on Tuesday, May 28th, at East Elementary, from 11:30 to 12:45. As long as supplies are available, the prepackaged meals will be handed out in the circle driveway on Tuesdays for the next eight weeks. .

Some members of the MHS band had a phenomenal trip to Branson, MO to kick off summer vacation. The trip included Dolly Parton's Stampede, Go karts, shopping at Branson Landing, SIX vocal a cappella show, Silver Dollar City, and a performance at the Clay Cooper Theater before The Haygoods performance! The students were great representatives of our community and had an absolute blast on the trip!

⛳️ State Golf Update: Class C ⛳️ Wednesday - May 22 2 hour delay. Tee times will begin at 11 am. Practice facilities will open at 9:45. Brycen will tee off at 12:50 pm on hole #1.

Due to storms and rain, the first day of state golf has been cancelled. The tournament will be one day, 18 holes. Brycen will have his original tee time of 10:50 am off #1. Check here for possible delays in the morning due to wet conditions.

Due to construction, the CLJMS Summer Enrichment Learning Program will take place at EAST ELEMENTARY starting June 3rd!
