Due to the increased number of Minden football players currently out due to confirmed and presumed cases of COVID-19 the JV FB game vs. Cozad, Monday, Aug. 31st will not be played at that time. We hope to play this game this season and will let you know if we find a date.

I am sharing information for our fans coming to Minden Whippet activities this fall. We are very excited to host contests this fall and provide some sporting enjoyment to our students, coaches, parents, and fans. Go Whippets!
Due to an increased number of Minden high school football players currently being held out of participation due to confirmed and presumed cases of COVID-19, the direction of Kearney County Health Services and Two Rivers Health Department is to suspend all high school football practices and games until 8/29/20. The situation will be reassessed at that time to verify it is safe to resume. At this time no other school teams/groups are affected by these restrictions.
All high school classroom instruction will remain as currently scheduled. Every precaution is being taken to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff. This is a very hard thing to do but the safety of our students and community is most important. We will follow the recommendations of these health providers and reevaluate as we move forwards. These directed health measures may change at any time at the discretion of our health providers.
