Just a reminder that tomorrow the volleyball team will host their “Crushing It For The Cure” event in their games versus Holdrege. All proceeds from this event will benefit CureSearch and The American Cancer Society. The reserve game begins at 5:00 p.m. with the JV and Varsity to follow at 6:00 and 7:00. Thanks to all those who purchased t-shirts. Please wear your shirts to tomorrow’s game. We do have a limited supply of t-shirts left. Please contact Julie Ratka if you would like to get one. This will be your last chance to buy Husker Raffle tickets with 2 chances to win. The drawing will take place between the 2nd and 3rd sets of the varsity match. In addition, we will be honoring those who have battled cancer and were victorious as well as those who weren’t with a moment of silence prior to the varsity match.
We will also be celebrating our seniors at the end of the match. Please plan to stay for a special presentation at the end.
Congratulations to FCCLA’s October Member of the Month, Jalen Kuehn. Jalen earned this month’s honor by working tirelessly in the concession stand from opening set-up all the way through final clean-up. We appreciate her work ethic and happy attitude! Congrats, Jalen!!!

Minden Bandfest is coming up this Saturday, October 15th. Around 40 schools will be in town for the event! The parade starts on 1st Street and runs North on Brown Ave up to 5th Street. The field competition will happen at Kuper Field after the conclusion of the parade. Come out and support the CLJ Middle School band and the MHS band!
TeamMates of Minden is searching for its next Program Coordinator! This position coordinates all aspects of the Minden TeamMates Chapter. We are looking for someone to help match youth with mentors, and represent the program in the school and community settings.
