Minden girls wrestling team is competing today in the State Duals in Pierce put on by the Nebraska Wrestling Coaches Assoc. Go Whippets!
As I'm sure everyone has heard by now there was an issue with state wrestling tickets. The girls sessions 2 and 4 have been sent out by email from CHI and will be transferred by ticket master, we received all of the tickets ordered for those. For sessions 5 and 6 we ordered 59 and received 22. We are waiting until districts to see what girls qualify for state before dividing tickets as we want state qualifiers families to be able to attend first. For those who did not or will not receive sessions 5 and 6, CHI has stated that a refund will be issued in 2 to 3 weeks. Please be patient as we try to work through this difficult situation.

Last week, one of Mrs. Johnson's Textiles classes went to Bethany Home to help with an FCCLA project being completed by Allison Burchell and Cheyenne Vahl. While there, some of the students made a connection with Wilma Jones, and were amazed to find out that she would be turning 103 in a week! Yesterday, they returned with flowers to wish her a Happy Birthday! Pictured with Wilma are Naviannah Lennemann, Kierslin Franks, Sayge Grotrian and Lauren Starkey. Makenna Anderson was ill and unable to visit.
