The first day of school for high school students is Wednesday, August 13th, at 8:00 a.m.
All high school students will begin the day at 8:00 a.m. in the HS Theater for a short meeting.
We’ll dismiss at the regular 3:30 p.m. time that day.
✅ **Thursday, Aug. 14** – Regular schedule: 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
✅ **Friday, Aug. 15** – Friday schedule: 8:00 a.m.–2:10 p.m.

Today marked Triathlon Day for the volleyball team — a long-standing tradition now in its 18th year. We are incredibly proud of our athletes for stepping outside their comfort zones and embracing the challenge with determination and grit. Their effort and enthusiasm set a strong tone for the season ahead, and we’re excited to officially begin practice next Monday.

The MHS Whippet Band has been hard at work preparing for the 2025 marching season! Their field show this year is titled "Thor's Hammer" and will feature a story about Asgard, Mjolnir, Odin, and the Frost Giants. If you happen to catch the band in a parade this Fall, you will hear "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana.

The MHS Dance Team is hosting Whippet Vision Movie Night on Kuper Field on Friday August 8th!! The movie will begin at 8:30pm on the video board, and concessions are available. We hope to see a great turn out and support the MHS Dance Team!!!
